Butchertown Art Fair Returns During First Weekend of June

The Butchertown Art Fair returns to the 800 block of E. Washington Street (corner of E. Washington St. and Campbell St.) on Saturday, June 7, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, June 8, 11-5. Located in one of Louisville's oldest neighborhoods, the art fair takes place annually on the first weekend in June, set against a backdrop of historic homes from the 1800s.

Showcasing diverse, high-quality artists from throughout the region and beyond, the Butchertown Art Fair is a juried art show that features handcrafted artwork from more than 70 artists. Complementing the art with live music, local food trucks, beer, wine, cocktail selections, and the classic tree-canopied ambiance of Washington Street; the Butchertown Art Fair celebrates the vibrant, historic identity of the neighborhood and sustains itself through the funds it generates.

The Butchertown Art Fair is Butchertown Neighborhood Association's signature event and primary fundraiser. Proceeds from the art fair will directly benefit community development and preservation of the historic Butchertown neighborhood. Additionally, a variety of surrounding area nonprofits will be selected as beneficiaries of the 2025 Butchertown Art Fair.

Sponsors include: Vendome Copper & Brass Works & Louisville Public Media, 502 Print & Copy, Butchertown Grocery Bakery, Butchertown Clinical Trials & The Eye Care Institute, Camp FurKids, Hadley Pottery, LouCity & Racing Lou, Louisville Geek, Story Louisville, The Downtown Animal Hospital
