Buzzy Morning With WDRB

Drinking beer at 9 a.m. on a Monday? Sure, why not. Photo of the TV by Cynthia Bard

Had a great time this morning at West Sixth NuLu. Hung out with the Louisville Beer Week/Louisville Ale Trail guys, did a live interview with WDRB, and got to meet West Sixth’s Kaitlyn Colberg.

Plenty of local beer folks were there as well, like Kyle Jahn of Goodwood Brewing, Roger Huff of Gallant Fox, Scott Shreffler of Mile Wide and Kinsey Bernhard of Hi-Wire Brewing.

I didn’t make it into the online post, but here is WDRB reporter Keith Kaiser’s report.

Also? Kaitlyn got us all a little buzzed. I tasted an IPA, a special Gallant Fox/West Sixth collaboration, and also had a pair of West Sixth barrel-aged stouts, one made with cocoa and the other with chili peppers. All before 9 a.m. What a great start to the week!
