Official Launch: Please Consider Subscribing to my Patreon Page
I would like to announce that I have launched a Patreon account, which you can visit here. If you aren’t familiar with Patreon, it’s basically a platform upon which you can support your favorite artists, projects and so on so that they can keep doing what they do.
Right now, all I’ve got set up is a $5/month tier that is mostly just to say, “Hey, I wanna help out, because I enjoy and want to support your content.” You know, the local news and commentary that can be found on this blog, not to mention reviews, columns, humor, book excerpts and other writing, but also my hot pepper/pepper sauce videos and podcast. (Honestly, I’m not sure how I keep up with it all while also trying to make a living.)
But soon, I’ll add another tier or two that will guarantee fun, exclusive content — and I will add content to the $5 tier as well. For example, I recently had to cut a LOT from my new book, which will be released this coming fall. Those leftover chapters and sidebars that were left on the editing room floor will become available to select Patreon members. If you have any ideas of what kind of content or features you’d be interested in — happy hour with a local author, perhaps? — hit me up here. I’m still brainstorming.
So, if you value the content I produce and want to help out by sponsoring my work for five bucks a month on Patreon, I wish to thank you in advance. If not, it’s all good. Rest assured, we’ll be friends regardless. Either way, thanks for reading/watching/listening!
