KOBBE, APRON Inc. to Host Fund-Raiser at Black Rabbit Sept. 7

APRON Inc., Louisville’s first non-profit serving those who sever you and KOBBE, Kentucky's Original Black Bourbon Enthusiasts, will host a fund-raising happy hour on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Black Rabbit.

The event is open to the public and will feature Black Rabbit specialty bites and cocktails curated by KOBBE using bourbon whiskey selected by KOBBE. The happy hour is 5:30-7:30 p.m., and tickets are $30 per person in advance (order here: https://www.aproninc.org/events/) or $32 at the door. Tickets include two complimentary cocktails and thank you gifts will be given to attendees at the door. Upon arrival at Black Rabbit, which is located at 120 Sears Ave. in St. Matthews, knock three-times on the bookshelf and use the password “benevolence.”

APRON also will be the non-profit partner for KOBBE’s annual Bourbon and Benevolence Event in December.

“KOBBE embodies the commitment to community outreach that has enabled APRON to grow and support employees in Louisville’s Independent Restaurant Community for the last 11 years,” Gary Fox, APRON Inc. President. said in a news release. “We look forward to seeing folks at the Black Rabbit for a signature cocktail or two, and at Bourbon and Benevolence for one of the most fun parties, and best bourbon auctions, in town.

"KOBBE is excited for our continued partnership with Apron Inc, we are a huge supporter of their mission to help our local service industry,” added Jamar Mack, Founder of KOBBE. “This next event really represents how two organizations can work to better our community."
