Louisville Breweries to Hit Up This Year on New Year’s Eve

If you’re the New Year’s Eve going-out type and you’re a supporter of local breweries, you’ll have plenty of choices this year. You know, assuming you aren’t dodging the latest covid strain.

From live music at Gravely Brewing Company to game night at Old Louisville Brewing, there’s probably an option that’s right up your alley. Don’t forget your mask.

And remember, this isn’t necessarily a comprehensive list — just a list of events that area breweries have officially announced. More will be added as more announcements come. Finally, please note that I refrained from using phrases like “Happy Brew Year” and “Happy New Beer.” You’re welcome.

Atrium Brewing

This one should be pretty laid back, but Atrium will be celebrating its first year in business, which is exciting in its own right. Atrium’s 100th batch brewed will be on tap, along with some signature Pastry Sours and a few other “nerdy” pours (their word). Staff will pop bottles of our Sparkling Acid Math at midnight.

Falls City Brewing Company

Falls City will stream the ball drop in England at 7 p.m. In addition, Champagne Tripel Nova, a bottle conditioned Belgian-style tripel, will be available. Food will be provided by Celtic Pig from 5-8pm.

West Sixth Brewing NuLu

A $15 ticket scores you a champagne toast, a draft beer ticket, a special spicy snack mix and a bag of goodies and decor to make it as festive as you can handle.

Gravely Brewing

It’s a night of bluegrass music at Gravely, with three bands, starting at 8 p.m. Stick around until midnight for a champagne toast.

Old Louisville Brewery

OLB has plenty of games on hand for you to play with your friends, or you can bring your own. Order in food or bring your Christmas leftovers if that’s how you roll. Also, free party favors and a free champagne toast at midnight.

3rd Turn Brewing (Jeffersontown)

A $60 ticket gets you into the private event, plus two drinks, a bubbly toast at midnight, hors d'oeuvre provided by RecBar and donuts to round out the night. It’s sort of all-inclusive, folks, just like at Sandals. But without all the sand.
