Are you a fan of local restaurants like Biscuit Belly, Morning Fork, Big Bad Breakfast and Con Huevos? If so, you’re not alone, as Louisville ranked 24th on LawnCare.com’s ranking of the Top 200 Best Cities for Breakfast Lovers for 2023.

Just ahead of National French Toast Day (Nov. 28), Lawn Care looked at cities with plenty of access to breakfast spots like diners, cafes, and doughnut shops, accounting for quality and popularity by measuring consumer ratings, Google search interest and the number of breakfast clubs, among 16 total metrics.

Not surprisingly, New York took the top spot on the list, topping two of the three main categories on which cities were scored, including Access, Quality and Popularity. San Francisco, Chicago, Portland and Providence (R.I) rounded out the Top 5. On the downside, if you’re from West Valley, Utah, which ranked last, you may be stuck eating unfrosted Pop-Tarts.

Louisville ranked 29th in access, as in availability of breakfast restaurants to residents; 22nd for quality of restaurants available, and 51st for Popularity of breakfast. Also nearby, Nashville ranked 19th overall (and 6th in overall Quality rank); Indianapolis ranked 32nd; Cincinnati ranked 49th, and Lexington 89th.
