‘Rescues on the Runway’ to Raise Funds for Animal Care Society

PetSuites presents Rescues on the Runway is set for April 13 at at Mall St. Matthews in partnership with Women’s Dillard’s. This unique event blends Derby season with a love of animals, as rescue dogs take the stage alongside models, showcasing the hottest derby-inspired fashions.

(The models show off the fashion, not the dogs. Ahem.)

The ticketed event will include a wine and spirits pull, a bourbon barrel thieving experience, auctions and plenty more. The helps ACS (Animal Care Society) continue its vital work in the community, rescuing and caring for animals in need. In addition to the runway spectacle, ACS announced the return of the “Derby Dog of the Year” contest. It’s easy to enter your dog: Simply visit derbydogoftheyear.com, upload a photo and story about your pet, and share with your friends, family, and followers to gather votes. The top five vote-getters will get a chance to walk the runway at Rescues on the Runway, where Derby Dog of the Year will be crowned.
