‘The Joan Jett Song’ - The Uncommon Houseflies

It was spring 1986 in Daytona Beach, Florida, when Butch saw Joan Jett and the Blackhearts perform. After the show, he got within range of the rock star’s limo and shouted, “Marry me, Joan!” She flashed a quick smile and then disappeared into the Florida night. This song tells the story of that fateful evening. Or something. Special thanks to everyone who let us use their pictures in this video without their permission. (And yes, this is my band.)
