V-Grits Grand Re-Opening is April 8

After shutting down the 3500 sq ft restaurant and brewery located on Barret Avenue in February, V-Grits and its brand of fast casual vegan comfort food is reopening this Saturday, April 8, at Logan Street Market.

The all day event highlights special items such as The Black & Yellow Burger, which is a play on V-Grits’ new color scheme and features a charcoal bun made by The Grainwright, a bakery also located inside Logan Street Market.

After shrinking down to less than 10% of its previous size, V-Grits owner Kristina Addington said the soft launch has been a success. “Our lifelong customers have followed us and we’re serving first timers everyday,” she said.

V-Grits continues to serve fan favorites such as the CrunchWrap Supreme and Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, along with new items like the BBQ Platter, Chicken Tender Basket, and Loaded Gouda Mac, all 100% vegan.

“Not only is Logan Street Market an affordable place for small business owners to operate, it’s a friendly community of vendors and patrons where we have the opportunity to provide vegan meals to a customer base we may never have reached,” Addington said. “V-Grits is already thriving and I’m very excited to see what the summer brings.”

Operating hours at the new location will be Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; Fridan and Saturday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
