‘Gravely Grub’ Features Music-Themed Brewhouse Fare
Gravely Brewing Co. unveiled its new “Gravely Grub” menu, featuring — to the surprise of no one — music-themed pub fare.
After a long run with Mayan Cafe’s Mayan Street Food truck followed by a stint with food from Little Toasty’s (by way of Toasty’s Tavern), the brewery decided to develop an in-house menu for the first time. The menu offers six appetizers, a couple salads, six sandwich melts, a small kids menu and a few sides, along with a selection of house dipping sauces.
The starters includes items replete with music references, in accordance with the brewery’s business model and theme, like Glass Onion Soup, Major Tom’s Totchos, J Dilla Quesadilla and Chaka Khan Charcuterie. The salads are the Swiftie and the California Dreamin’ Cobb, while melts pop with fun items like Grilled Cheese Incident, Herbie Hancock (it’s herbed chicken, so …), Country Grammar, Black Betty (black bean sammy for vegans), followed by a house signature sandwich, The Gravely, which is the brewery’s take on a Philly cheese steak.
Tots, chips, coleslaw and sweet potato waffle fries are the side options, while sauces include a BBQ sauce, chipotle crema, stoneground mustard and Spicy Gravely Sauce, along with others.
“All of the love and limitless energy we've poured into our beer, brand, and atmosphere over the years has been channeled into a menu painstakingly perfected to the Gravely experience,” the brewery posted on its Facebook page. “Food tailored for conversations, quick outings, first dates, happy hours that linger, family affairs, proper dinners, and - of course - our beer!”
The post added, “We're going to do a full edible exposé into each menu item over the next few weeks,” so stay tuned for that.
Gravely Brewing is located at 514 Baxter Ave.
