Inkredible’s Burgers and Shakes Opens in West Louisville

There’s another burger shack in town, and it’s not of the chain variety — InKredible’s Burgers and Shakes is local and family-owned.

It’s so family-oriented in fact that, according to a story by WLKY, it’s named for the sister of co-owner Desi Hampton, whose sister’s nickname is InKredible Kam. The restaurant opens Jan. 12 and is located at 1506 Dixie Highway, at the corner of West Hill Street.

The bright pink eatery features drive-through service as well as dine-in seating. The building’s design would lend itself to multiple locations, with its small footprint and striking appearance.

The menu lists eight burgers, highlighted by the signature InKredible Burger, which is topped with American cheese, bacon, grilled peppers and onions, tomato, lettuce pickle and InKredible sauce. There are also four chicken sandwiches, including the Boom Spice sandwich, the InKredible fish sandwich and the InKredible dog, which is loaded with brisket burnt ends, barbecue sauce, queso cheese, grilled peppers and onions.

In addition, breakfast offerings include four croissant sandwiches and two sides. And for those with a sweet tooth, there are nine different milkshakes on the menu, from a classic chocolate shake to the Kentucky bourbon caramel shake. For vegans, there’s a plant-based burger, and InKredible’s also offers a kids’ menu.

Hours will be Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m., according to the business’ website.
