Louisville Restaurant Week Returns Feb. 21-27; Will Benefit AMPED
Louisville Restaurant Week is back. From Feb. 21-27, a number of restaurants around town will offer a three course, pre-fixe menu — and it’s for a good cause.
A few of the participating restaurants include Naive, Board and You, LouVino, Mesh, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Brasserie Provence. Additional locations and menus will be announced Feb. 11 online; meals will priced from $26 to $46.
But wait — there’s more. For every meal purchased during Louisville Restaurant Week, $1 will be donated to the Academy of Music Production Education and Development (AMPED), a non-profit that provides music programs for children, as well as adult technology education. It is also Louisville's first Black business incubator.
“Our goal is to amplify AMPED Louisville’s mission with this Restaurant Week partnership and provide them additional financial tools in their efforts to reach our city’s underserved communities,” Cleo Battle, the president and CEO of Louisville Tourism, said in a news release.
